Hotel Angel- Movies




Skeet Ulrich (Scream, As Good As It Gets); Tobey Maguire (Pleasantville, The Ice Storm); Jeffrey Wright (Tony Award winner for Angels In America: Perestroika, Basquiat); and in her feature film debut, JEWEL, star in Ride With the Devil under the direction of Ang Lee (Sense and Sensibility, The Ice Storm).

The film’s co-stars are Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Michael Collins, The Velvet Goldmine), Simon Baker-Denny (LA Confidential) and James Caviezel.

A Universal Pictures and Good Machine production, the screenplay was written by James Schamus (The Ice Storm), who is partnered at Good Machine with Ted Hope and David Linde. The film is produced by Schamus, Hope and Robert F. Colesberry. David Linde serves as the film’s executive producer.

A coming-of-age story, Ride With the Devil follows the lives of a young Missouri man and his gang of misfits as they become caught up in the strife along the Kansas/Missouri border during the Civil War. Together they find the friendship, loyalty and sense of family needed to survive during such desperate times, while learning about responsibility, love and loss.
