Demo work continues in preparation for Jewel's next album. Who will be producing has not yet been determined, but Jewel continues to write new material and has been quite experimental and adventurous on her recent song demos. Several older unreleased songs are also being considered. One surprise is a rewritten "Angel Needs A Ride," (an obscure 1994 release on a San Diego music compilation and also on the two record set vinyl version of Jewel's first album, 'Pieces Of You') now with completely different music and verses.

At this point, "the short list" of potential songs is at approximately three dozen, so there's an abundance of material that Jewel is considering for her upcoming album.
